Michael Schramm is the Director of Information Technology and Research at the Cuyahoga Land Bank as well as a Research Associate at the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development in the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Recognized as a national expert in property data systems, Michael is also extensively involved in the development and maintenance the neighborhood information system, NEO CANDO (Northeast Ohio Community and Neighborhood Data for Organizing). Michael has B.S. degrees in Geography and Meteorology from Penn State University and a M.A. in Geography from Syracuse University.
Join us on June 13 to learn how the Cuyahoga Land Bank uses data to make strategic decisions and manage its inventory of properties. Mr. Schramm will discuss how the “Property Profile System” is the foundation of the Land Bank. Features of this system include automatic document generation, photo management, a dynamic link to the Case Western Reserve University’s NEO CANDO property database, and data exchange with financial and task management systems. Modules have been developed to manage a number of business processes, including pre-acquisition assessments, demolitions, asbestos surveys, property maintenance, tax foreclosure, and sharing information with the public.
